Before we get into our favourites, you’ve probably got a few questions around what a 1 carat diamond ring is. Did you know, when we talk about carats, we actually mean the weight - not the size.
When it comes to buying a 1 carat diamond ring, the diamond cut itself is very important. We hold the cut in the highest regard because it has the greatest influence on a diamond’s sparkle. Only a well-cut diamond will demonstrate its true scintillation, reflecting the light back through the crown for a breathtaking sparkle.
Even if a diamond has a large carat weight, perfect clarity and colour grade, if it has a poor cut the diamond will appear dull. A round brilliant diamond is the most popular choice as it is cut with perfect symmetry, and maximises the brilliance and fire of the diamond.

Clarity: All diamonds naturally have blemishes, from the pressure they’re exposed to when formed deep in the earth. We only select diamonds that have no visible inclusions to the naked eye, to keep their shine a wonderful bright white.
Carat: The carat of a diamond references the weight of the stone, and we measure carats by dividing 1 carat into 100 points. For example, a 1ct diamond is 100 points, and a 0.5ct diamond is 50 points.
