The Islamic calendar operates on the lunar cycle, meaning that Eid falls on a different date each year. This year, Eid al-Fitr is expected to take place on or near 30th or 31st March, as the sighting of the moon will determine the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

Samiyah, from our Bracknell store, spends time with her family and community to celebrate Eid al-Fitr.
