A Guide To Buying A TUDOR
Designed to withstand the rigours of time, a TUDOR watch will take you into the world of micro-precision for a true forever watch. Launched in 1946 by Rolex founder Hans Wilsdorf, TUDOR’s continuous desire to push the boundaries of the watch industry has kept their watches distinctive for over half a century.
Since 2015, TUDOR has offered mechanical Manufacture Calibres with multiple functions and superior performance. All TUDOR manufacture Calibres are known as “weekend-proof” with a 70-hour power reserve, meaning you can take your watch off on a Friday evening and put it back on again on Monday morning without having to reset it.
If you’re considering buying a TUDOR watch, or you’ve got your heart set on one but unsure which model is for you, this guide will take you through the different TUDOR models and collections to help you decide which one’s your dream watch. Shall we start with something new? We think so…
TUDOR Heritage Ranger
Say hello to the TUDOR Heritage Ranger collection. Paying homage to the British North Greenland Exhibition which set out 70 years ago, these new watches showcase ground-breaking technology and polished aesthetic that reflects the 1960s watch.
COSC-certified and tested as low as -40 degrees, these watches boast a 39mm case size, domed sapphire crystal glass and are waterproof to 100m. You can find the word ‘RANGER’ on the dial - something TUDOR have introduced for this collection. Choose between a stainless steel bracelet, leather & rubber strap with beige stitching, or jacquard fabric strap for a military look.

TUDOR Royal
Royal by name and royal by nature, the TUDOR Royal collection first began in the 1950s. The name was chosen to highlight the superior quality of these beautifully made watches. The Royal range today consists of automatic sport-chic watches, with a characteristic notched bezel and alternating surface polish and cut grooves.
Going with a contemporary take on classic design, the TUDOR Royal pays respect to the history of the brand, giving it a unique personality. Balance, elegance and versatility have driven the design of this stunning watch. This TUDOR Royal S&G Diamond Automatic Ladies Watch boasts a beautiful mother of pearl and diamond dot dial, combining superior quality with luxurious design.

TUDOR Pelagos
A tool watch that knows no limits, the TUDOR Pelagos is built for underwater adventure. The Pelagos makes the biggest impression with its unique auto-adjustable bracelet which expands or contracts with the varying depth and water pressure. Water proof to 500m and equipped with a helium escape valve, it’s still to this day an essential device if you’re doing any ‘saturation’ dives.
Another great characteristic of the Pelagos is the optimisation TUDOR have made to its readability. Not only does the dial present generously sized square hour markers and easy-to-read ‘Snowflake’ hands, but the luminous material ensures great visibility as it is the last colour on the spectrum to be discernible at great depths - like the TUDOR Pelagos FXD Men’s Watch, designed to celebrate TUDOR’s partnership with the Alinghi Red Bull Racing.
